How to Fix Random DLL Errors

At times when using a Windows computer, you will get what is known as a DLL error on your machine. Many times the computer will have a runtime error or will inform you that you are missing a file of some sorts. Many times this will happen when you open an application or boot up the machine for the first time that day. If you do get this, it needs to be fixed. There are a few simple ways of getting this error message taken care of.

If you are getting a DLL message error when you are starting up a certain application, there is an easy fix to this most of the time. You can simply install the application over again. This will replace the missing DLL file since all the proper files will be found in the installation files. At times things get moved or destroyed. This fixes your problem.

Another strategy is to find and download the missing file. If you are missing a certain DLL file from a certain directory, you can do search online and download a new one. Simply take this file and put it back into it's proper directory and everything should run fine.

Something else you can do is to take the error message and type it into a search engine. What will happen is that you will find a variety of fixes from those who have made pages about it online. Follow the instructions to help get rid of the problem.

You may have to go back to your computers restore point if none of these are working for you. If the error is very recent, the restore point might be saved in a prior state to the problem even existing. If this is the case, you can go back to before the problem was on the machine meaning that you won't have to deal with it anymore.
